Metapower & Metafit

The Metafit group workout is an effective and simple workout that gets big results. To burn fat you need to change the resting metabolism, work big muscle groups with simple un choreographed, high intensity intervals that get quick results. Metafit workouts are taught as a studio class.

Created by a former Royal Marine Commando Metafit combines traditional bodyweight exercises with the latest HIIT training techniques to set the metabolism on fire! No expensive kit required for this workout!

MetaPWR (MetaPower) is a thirty minute circuit class that combines resistance and bodyweight exercises to target and develop strength, power, agility, and cardiovascular efficiency.

MetaPWR develops strength and power not from ‘traditional’ gym strength training, but by carefully selecting equipment that will offer both resistance and explosive/ballistic exercises. Combining this with plyometric and non-plyometric bodyweight exercises promotes muscle adaption and growth, heightens your metabolic rate, and helps burn body fat. The use of weighted equipment also helps with bone density.

Ground ‘n’ Pound

Ground ‘n’ Pound is a 30 minute workout programme utilising skills from MMA and Cagefighting. There is no contact and students train individually using a specific Ground and Pound Bag. Classes are 30 minutes long and are a full body workout. These classes are suitable for all fitness levels as its just YOU against your bag. Ladies tend to love this class and its a great workout for people who are time poor!

South West Sydney Defensive Tactics Studio runs a number of Ground and Pound classes through the week. All you need to participate in Ground and Pound is a pair of fingerless gloves which we have for hire, a towel, a bottle of water and a huge bundle of energy.

Punch Fit

Punch Fit is a non-contact class, lasting 45 minutes, that uses boxing training routines to improve your cardio fitness and skills. Our professional instructor will get your blood pumping from the start with boxing-specific warm ups. You’ll then be put through your paces with a variety of boxing circuits that will keep you moving.

Partner and solo drills will develop your technique while the fast pace of the class will take your stamina to another level! Punch-Fit is a perfect fat-burning and muscle-toning workout.

Fitness Workout

Fitness Workout is a non-contact all-round exercise class, lasting 45 minutes, including a wide variety of exercises from bodyweight to battle ropes, squats to kettle bells. Working to increase your strength and cardio levels in a very dynamic and fun way.
